In addition, after the initial review of the Group Assignment on Chapter 2: Review of Literature requires additional write-up by separating Foreign Studies and Local Studies. Specifically, sub-headings or sub-topics should be incorporated in the chapter which discuss the "key areas" of the proposed study. Observe proper text citation and listing of references using APA format. The literature review should highlights the major findings in the past researches, the research gaps or research problems that need further study or which your proposed research will focus. Lastly, you start drafting your Chapter 1: Introduction. Please clearly states at least three (3) objectives or statement of the problem. Do not forget the SMART characteristics! CE5226 Laws/Ethics: Newspaper clippings on the Contents of the Invitation to Bid - due 19 Feb 20182/12/2018 A soft reminder that the QUIZ will moved on 19th Feb 2018, and at the same time the submission of the assignment on the contents of the Invitation to Bid. You are required to submit (3) sample newspaper clippings which some of them were already given to the class during our last meeting.
If your group still needs additional clippings, you can visit my office and provide you the newspapers. For every clipping, you have to indicate or write the information as stated in the clippings based on the following items. If the information is not available in the clippings, then just write "MISSING INFORMATION" opposite to the items: 1. A brief description of the project matter of the Procurement 2. A general statement on the criteria to be used by the Procuring Entity fo the eligibility check 3. NON-COMPLIANCE AND LATE SUBMISSION (SUBMISSION BEYOND THE DEADLINE) IS TEN (10) POINTS DEDUCTION PER DAY. A quiz will be given on the next meeting, 23 February 2018. Since the short quiz did not take place on 05 Feb 2018 as posted, this will be undertaken on Monday, 12 Feb 2018. This quiz will cover RA9184 particularly sections related to Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), Bid Documents and Invitation to Bid, and some salient features of GPPB and PhilGEPS. Students are encouraged to visit GPPB and PhilGEPS website.
The guideline for Assignment #5 is already available in the course link. Please carefully read the instructions to have a very good submission of the said assignment. Use short bond paper and print in colors. The best software to use is Excel, otherwise you can use other available softwares that could generate graphs.
THERE WILL BE NO CLASS THIS COMIN SATURDAY, 10 FEB, however, your assignment for Chapter 2: Review of Related Literature will be collected. Even this is the first progress submission on literature review, it is expected that you have covered intensive review of previous studies related to your proposed research project. Again, it is expected that you follow the APA citation and referencing. PLEASE ALSO READ CHAPTERS of the prescribed textbook by Calmorin & Calmorin related to Data Collection and Analysis. |
